Thanks rryde12, I'm in. Total came to $30.51 shipped after the $5 off coupon (+$10 later in the mail via rebate)... I also got in on the 256MB Viking which comes to $67 if you use the $5 off coupon... that one was for my sister's chistmas present though... this one is all mine

As far as Viking rebates (or any for that matter) are concerned, just make copies all the paperwork, put it in a safe place, set a event reminder for 6 weeks on your cell phone (or a task on Outlook or whatever) and if you don't have it by then, call and b!tch. Sure I've had slow rebates and even some that I've had to call and 'remind' them about but I've never NOT recieved them. YMMV though.... I'm sure others have horror stories!

I bought this same card for about $75 AR last year. I got the $25 rebate from Viking but it took a very long time (months). The card has worked flawlessly in my Nikon 995. I think it's faster than the 16MB Lexar 4X that came with the Nikon even though it's rated at like 2.8X or something.

Lexar, those are the same as digitalfilm.com, right? My gf has one of their card+reader combos and when I tried my Sandisk card it wouldn't work. I tried it on my laptop too (win2000) and it didn't work, I've used other USB readers on it in the past so I think that the Lexars have something wierd going driver wise.

That does seem odd!? I've used Sandisk and Lexar (no Viking), and they've both worked fine in the HP cams I own, as well as the card reader combos that Lexar has.

I did a Viking Rebate about a year ago. Took about 4 months to get the rebate but it did come.
