The front and back of this memory look different. I also see two different pictures of the same item at various website. I think the Corsair may be better. Don't see Abit board listed at the Viking website.

My question is, will this memory run at PC2100 speeds. I know most ram will step down, but what about the cheapo stuff?

I see AB3200DDR/512 for my Abit AX8, not VGDDR64X64PC3200. Don't know if this is the same RAM with a different ID code.

I have not noticed any difference but I did not run many memory intensive applications either. I consider 512MB a minimum for XP though. More memory is not going hurt you, and at these prices, your wallet will not be hurt either. For me no brainer.
