link to ecost

Cheap shipping if you get an order over $50, (they still charge a few bucks handling - no big deal). Personally I added the Sandisk 256MB SD card which is $49.99 AR - good price, but it is known to mess up in Dell Axims and Toshiba pocketPCs, so avoid the sandisk SD card if you have one of those.

I don't think this is a dup post - i apologize and please delete if it is.

They also have Kingston SM card FAR and you can buy two(the rebate limit is two). This Kingston rebate is a different one from the Kingston Shop one because they have different offer number.

Both are good.
I used both and have no problems with either.

edit: are these the same as MMC cards ? are or they different ?

Way different...SD cards have the same physical form factor as MMC cards (but SD cards have a "lock" mechanism)...this deal is about Smart Media format cards

I wouldn't recommend it. I have one and it is picky about the type of MMC card. Plus, SD cards can be found cheaper (as in this thread vs 32 for an MMC). Also, a lot of other devices use SD over MMC, so you could have multi use with SD over MMC.

Just my 2 cents.

well unfortunately the Mp3 player is made by Sonic blue/Phillips it's Nike Branded
It's only upgradeable to 96mb but that uses MMC. i'm gonna use it at the gym and stuff and it looks like a great choice minus the inability to get more memory.

Argh i dunno

would it be wise to buy smartmedia cards plus smartmedia readers and use them as keychain flash media?

I would not recommend using Smartmedia cards this way because Smartmedia cards are very thin and easy to be broken. CF and SD cards are more tough. Better to get the real USB memory if you need one.

Not to mention the 128 MB limit on SmartMedia cards, and that they're bigger than SD cards -> bigger reader. You can get the SanDisk Cruzer SD thumb-type drive if you need that kind of swappable storage - otherwise the Lexar JumpDrives are probably better for your money (i have a 128 MB one which is great).
