I'll try to explain it without a picture.....

From left to right, are pins 1, 2, and 3. Cut a slope, angled downward to the left - the slope's right point is between pins 2 and 3, at the top surface of the ice above their midpoint.
Cut such that the slope is above pin 2. Cut loose the extra ice hanging onto pin 1, and get it out of the way.

Cut the rope, then cut the ice between pin 2 and 3, closer to pin 2, in such a fashion that the larger chunk can pivot about pin 3. As the Viking falls onto it, it needs to begin rotating counterclockwise.
You may need to quickly dice out some of the extra ice hanging onto pin 2 to get it out of the way.

wtf is with 35 ??????? any advice?
1) Cut the rope on the right. Wood falls onto ice.
2) Make a vertical cut in the ice such that the wood can fall down and "latch" onto the ice.
3) Quickly cut the misty rope while it's swinging away from the mist.

I remain stuck on lvl39.

Edit, got it. Horray for luck.

40....

Edit2: Got it. The gear thing.

Total score: 480.

Cut the ice chunk a bit so it rotates a bit clockwise and cut the one rope that you can on the right side and as it drags the platform they are on away from the no cut area you can cut the rope once it pulls it far enough and the end of the platform will land in the boat while the other end on on the ice chunk and the guys slide into the boat.

Wow. There are so many other things I should have been doing. Cleared em all though.

Finished finally. Some of the latter levels are quite clever. 38 is particularly nasty.

what am i missing on 40?

cut the top of the ice, drop the wood on top of it, free the gear the viking is trapped in, release the ice teeth, they will spin the gear, he should start spinning decently after it goes past, be ready to cut the gear at the right spot so he is thrown up and towards the ship

LOL, too complicated.

Just cut the teeth off the "saw" but leave the last one (make like a leg), cut a line at an angle where the viking is but still leaves him on block. Release the "saw", kick the viking in the boat. Win.

lol yeah that's how I did it.

here we go

fans of icebreaker will like that game too, i think. I haven't played it in a long time though.

38 took a while, had 39 the second try.

39: Cut the top right so the guy falls off, then cut the top to allow the top left one to move sooner. Bottom right to allow it to rotate (if you cut off enough weight it won't move fast, so only the top guy will start to slip). Once the top one is almost off cut off the whole right side, and the last one will pretty much be thrown into the boat (may have to help him with a final cut).

39 is simple, two cuts. First cut is \ start at 1/3 down the right column (so that when it falls to the left it'll catch that ledge of the bottom guy's step), the second cut is obvious, to make way for the bottom guy to slide into the boat.

How do you get past #22?
This is where the ice skulpture looks like a G hanging from the back.

I figure that I have to slice the top of the G to allow the viking inside the G to slide out.

Is the slicing needed to allow a balanced slide forward and prevent the inside viking from falling out before the slice protects him??

CC - cut one of the ice blocks off to get it rotating and then cut the other one off quickly. This should give a slow rotation of the "g" and he'll fall out.
