LOL, too complicated.

Just cut the teeth off the "saw" but leave the last one (make like a leg), cut a line at an angle where the viking is but still leaves him on block. Release the "saw", kick the viking in the boat. Win.

That does work a lot easier, just tried it out.

First time around, I just tried to follow the design.

I just vaporized one of my Vikings on those dangerous Runes at lvl27, but it sent me to the next level anyway.

I cant figure out how much OOMPH to give my swing. He always goes a little too high or too low.

Cut a thin wedge off the bottom of the ice to give it more of an angle, then cut to let it swing.

After getting stuck on about every one of the last 6 levels, I beat level 40 in one try - Didn't do it how it was supposed to be done, just got enough momentum to swing the dude over.

This reminds be a lot of a similar game that is fairly recent I think, except it's cutting wood instead of ice. Anyone know what it's called? Probably made by the same people...it was very similar if I recall correctly, which I might not.

Got past it, through unconventional means, I'm sure.
Lvl33 was hilarious - lots of birds, and the round enclosure with 4 "thrusters." Well I made one cut that caused a whole thruster to fly out of the holder, so I had three left. It slowly drifted downward, then following a quick cut to another one, it started tumbling upward. The Viking was flung out sideways, bounced off the wall, and fell right into the boat. :laugh:

There have been a few other levels where there's all this complex stuff going on in half the map, but I find a simpler solution just by exploiting some of the weirdness of the Flash physics engine.

Lvl38 was weak.
Lvl39 looks like it'll be a PITA.

1 horizontal cut above the level of the pin.
1 horizontal cut below it. That allows a long ice "beam" to fall across the boat. Cut it down the middle, effectively making a ramp for your guys. Then make a quick V-cut around the pin, allowing both halves to fall at once. Your guys get funneled down to the center, and are left on top of the ice ramp on the boat.
Dice it up, and they fall into the boat.
