There was a pro-health care reform protester who bit off the finger of a tea party protester.

The man who shot the bullet outside of Eric Cantor's office was an Obama campaign donor.

And I'm sure a simple google search will reveal untold numbers of "Kill Bush" protest signs.

We could go in to what Code Pink has done, or let's get in to what Bill Ayers did.

These prominent republicans that in their time, represented the social and "moral" center of the republican party, were DEMOCRATS who, representing the extremely racist and segregationist south, became disillusioned with their national party's progressive swing, and branched off to create their own party--the southern democrats, or Dixiecrats.

They and others of the south ran under this banner for several years, before merging with the Republicans, who shared financial conservative values and many social values.

Eventually, this southern tent with a strong history of racist and segregationist agendas became the dominant social policy of the Republicans.
