No what you are actually trying to do is tar the Tea Party movement as being part of the "lunatic fringe". You do it by attributing random acts of violence by a very small number of people as somehow being endorsed and encouraged by them. You do it by the pejorative "teabagger". You do it by dismissing their ideas as hate, intolerance, and violence even though by any measure every Tea Party rally has been the model of peaceful, civil protest. When they marched on Washington DC last year they even cleaned up before they left. Their issues are the deficit and Constitutional governance. If that is "hate and intolerance" the meaning of those words has been changed beyond recognition.

This I don't believe, because if it had happened, he wouldn't have had to announce it for people to know of it. Police would have been involved and word would have gotten out. I'll gladly eat crow if a police report comes out, because I don't like the idea of anyone on any side lying about something like this. It's also worth mentioning in the same press release he harped about Democrats turning this into a political issue then plays his Jew card. Also, this guy goes to Brittney Spears concerts without his daughter.

The round struck with enough force to break the windowpane but did not penetrate the window blinds. There was no other damage to the room, which is used occasionally for meetings by the congressman."

I am pretty sure you don't get invited to the White House (outside of a function) if you are not friends with the president and have no political motive (senator/lobbyist/ect)
