Did anyone get one yet? Mine came today. Kinda different I must say. Not exactly what I expected. They cheated me and didn't include the Hitman2 game that's shown on the box, but when I check CompGeek site there's no mention of the game. I'll have to investigate more. Anyone else?

I ordered mine, but as I live in New York, it won't come for at least another day or two. I will let you know my experience....

Mine was scheduled to be delivered today, but as usual, FedEx has it delayed at a sort facility 80 miles away and I will not be getting it until tomorrow or later.

It seems that I too have been cheated out of Hitman 2. There is a sticker on the box that says - "3 new games included inside." Also the sticker has a picture of Hitman 2. However, the only game that installed was airlock (not very cool at all). It's most confusing. The glove is cool however; I am still working on properly calibrating it. I might even try getting to the bottom of this missing game dilemma. If I do I will let you guys know.

I didn't get the games either. I think they liquidated them to Compgeeks and decided not the include the games to save on licenses.

Same here - no games included CG only responds that games are not listed on their website as being part of the package.
Calibration is a byotch and goes wonky if any IR devices present (i have IR headphones)

might buy another glove for a gift though..

Also, no games included. And it appears that the www.essentialreality.com site is down for good. Has anyone been having any trouble getting this thing to work as a mouse. I installed the drivers and can see the manipulation of the fingers onscreen (the little bars that go up and down) but the glove will not control my mouse. Did you guys remove your standard mouse and then used the glove? Did you guys remove the thin plastic covereing over the IR sensor? Any help would be appreciated.

I got it working. Had to tinker with it a bit. The two sites I listed above have some decent info and I even found an updated driver for the thing that adds a little bit of extra functionality for the buttons and stuff. My problem, YOU CAN"T HOLD AND DRAG with the thing. Well you can, but it doesn't work well. Mouse mode (really the only mode it has) is also kinda awkward depending on how you place the sensor. I actually did better with the thing perched up on top of my monitor, but then I get monkey arm. So I put it back on the desk and angled it somewhat. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to remove the plastic.

Anyway, my impression is that it's an interesting gadget, but not that useful and I probably just wasted $20.

The mouse mode works if you enable it from P5 Control Panel (2nd tab, I believe).
You CAN hold and drag, just keep your finger bent while dragging.
As for other modes, you can go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/p5glove and download the PIE program and PPJoy somewhere on the net (freeware) - then you can emulate a joystick. Also available plugins to 3DStudioMax and such
I haven't had too much success with the glove yet, even playing their AirLock game... but this is a cool toy to play around with, maybe hack...

Oh yeah, IR devices interfere with it, so if you have one, better turn it off. (I have IR headphones here -_- )

cheers,
Fry-kun
