Unfortunately my mom's MLS website (real estate) will only run on Internet Explorer on a Windows PC... You can't even use firefox with the site on a PC, they actively block it. Nothing works except windows IE, we've tried to get around it multiple ways with no luck.
Now my mom isn't very technically inclined so I am trying to make this as easy as possible for her. I've been using Parallels for awhile now and have been very happy with the results, but if possible, I want something EVEN EASIER for her if possible.
Do any of the latest versions have the ability to have an Icon on the MAC desktop that when clicked, loads a specific webpage in IE in WINDOWS? (with Parallels/VMWare already loaded in the bg of course)
It would be nice if she could basically just access IE from the Mac desktop. She gets a bit confused when it comes to coherence (clicking in the parallels icon on the dock and the whatnot, so easy is good for her. ) She understands the desktop, so a desktop icon works best if possible.
