Virus?

A few days ago my computer moved my entire Administrator Documents and Settings folder to Administrator.bak. Now every time it starts (I run 2k), it checks each partition for consistancy and finds and fixes 20 or so bad indexes and about the same orphaned files. I ran Norton Antivirus with the lates definitions, and PowerMax.

So far I haven't accually lost data... but it takes a while to start.

Again Windows 2000 and a Maxtor 200GB drive.

Have you done all the latest Windows Updates?? I haven't heard of your exact problem, but there are a lot of problems related to changes made at sites and ISPs to combat all the worms out there.
