You should build an addition with a faraday cage so no one can use cell phones.

That soils issue, I feel your pain there. With a large lot you can spread out thousands of dollars of soil and it just disappears. I've got rock here with about 3" of forest soil over it. You start grading and that 3" is literally gone forever between the rocks.
If you pick the rocks you end up with a hole, still with rocks on the surface.
I rented a roller and knocked them down after grading, and spread out the cheapest stuff I could find. Still picking rocks out of my lawn 15 years later!

Hook the grid up to 220V, maybe.

I thank god every day that I'm not in residential construction. Seeing that picture of the skidloader acting as an aerial lift made me shudder.

Good luck with the landscaping. The budget on our $10mil job for site work is just shy of $900k and it is a SHITLOAD of work. Concrete paving, asphalt paving, grading, landscaping, etc. but it is nice seeing a contractor knock it out in no time flat.

LOL. Yeh. It was me working in the bucket. I figure if it can hold a quarter ton of dirt it can hold my 170 pound ass up there. It was more stable than trying to use a 20' extension ladder on a slope. I might live in a decent house but I'm still a part redneck I guess.
