I got one last week and overclocked it to Ti4600 speeds (300mhz/600mhz) using coolbits. Sweet card at a sweet price.

$192, ouch! I don't think I can justify an $80 difference for 64mb.

This probably isn't the right place to ask, but i need to get a vid card within the next two weeks, what would you guys suggest? the OTES with 64mb? 128mb? maybe a Radeon 9500 Pro? I'm looking for the <$200 price range.

i've had the visiontek running at near 4600 speeds for 4 months. excellent card, although from what i read, the abit is a guaranteed overclocker.

The PNY at CompUSA seems like a pretty good deal. The $30 MIR is good until 2/22 BTW. And CompUSA has UPS ground shipping for $5. That is pretty good.


But the Abit has a DVI connector on it. Is the OTES really that much louder? Another $15 for the DVI might be worth it to me, since I was able to capitalize on the Dell 18" deal a few weeks ago. But the extra noise might be too much; I would prefer to have a quiet system if I could.

It seems that maybe Outpost is out of these. Clicking on the link that was provided doesn't work anymore, at least for me. I was even looking at that card only a few hours ago. And searching their site for various terms doesn't return that card anywhere. The only Visiontek cards they show are the 128MB versions (going for about $150). Wouldn't they just post an OOS message if they ran out? Or are they more of the yank-it altogether type?
