Visiontek GF3 Ti200 - Which video cable?

I got in on the Best Buy $99 GF3 Ti200 deal awhile ago, but noticed that the card didn't come with a Video-Out cable.

I know that it's S-Video, but is there anywhere I can find a cheap S-Video to Composite RCA cable/adapter? Doesn't even have to be that long.

I wish. All I've found so far is a 12' S-Video cable at Radio Shack for $20.

Unfortunately, the card does 60 Hz in TV mode, so you get a background "buzz," and it has a band that goes down the screen slowly.

i use the s video directly to my digital receiver, and no lines, just slight flickering on bottom of screen. But tv resolution is so bad anyways. Only good to play back divix.

i'm swapping my radeon le for a visiontek ti200 and selling my old tnt2 32pci on my other comp.....

i've been using the tv-out on my radeonLE for a while and it's been OK. I use a/v cables for it though with an audio adapter. Where can i find s-video adapters and how much do they run? should i look for good ones? i play dvd and divx to my tv sometimes, and i don't have s-video, but i want some decent quality.

suggestions, comments?


also the radeon tv-out ran on 60 hz too and had the background noise FSU was talking about. But i got rid of the interference by unplugging my cable tv cable when i used tv-out. No more buzzing.

Really? That's pretty interesting. I'll have to check it out.

My understanding was that anytime your TV is near a 60 Hz frequency, you'll get the buzz and the wierd band. I haven't tried the cable unplugging trick.
