Actually, they make 512MB versions in AGP also, so it's not the best on AGP you can get. Just pointing that out.

The visiontek can be OC'ed higher then the Diamond or Sapphire 512 cards, so unless you are running an insanely high resolution where the extra memory will actually make a difference. This card will be faster, therefor I'd say this card is in fact "better" for most of us.

Visiontek doesn't make a 512 meg version of this card, but I'd take their 256 over either of the 512 ones simply because it will be faster in 99% of cases when OC'ed. *shrug* Extra memory doesn't always = better.

Also VisionTek doesn't come with temp sensor nor fan speed regulator... not a good buy IMO. 5-10% overclock won't make that of a big difference.

the card doesn't need a temp sensor it runs very cool, and fan speed regulator? the fan is inaudible unless you are anal about sound. This is the one of the quietest cards I've heard that didn't have a huge expensive after market cooler on it.

5-10% OC will make a bigger difference then the extra memory unless you're running some ungodly resolution. But you are right in the big picture 10% isn't much when most people will be getting amazing frame rates before any OC'ing. Extra memory isn't worth extra money IMO. I would go with this card for the lack of fan noise alone.

um... card without fan regulator is noisy not quiet... running 100% cycle duty regardless of temperature cannot be better than speed regulated by temperature... and that about overclocking is BS... Sapphire actually supports ati overdrive and VisionTek doesn't. And 512MB will pay off in soon future.
