If you are a student, you might want to check out the e bay before plunking down your cash. M$ gave away a bazillion academic full version copies of this last month. Most people just went for the free WinXP Pro they were also giving away at the same event, so you might be able to get one for really cheap if they haven't all already bayed. Note that you must be a student to use it.

Just one risk you might consider: Selling that academic version is banned by eBay and Microsoft. So, you might not get a legal licence for that software.

The Microsoft event was kinda neat, way above my head though. Food was okay, the band sucked. but the free copy of XP really came in handy.

I'm not going to use the Visual STudio .Net though.
