vnf3-250 have heatsink mounting holes?

I am trying to find out if it has mounting holes around the CPU and will support a thermalright slk94u. Oddly, I can't find any really good pics that show what I want to know and none of the reviews I've seen mention third party heatsinks or their use. So if someone who has this board could provide the needed info? Thanks.

I just put an SLK-948u on mine. You'll have to unscrew the 2 screws that hold on the heatsink mounting bracket, and remove the bracket and the backplate. The 2 holes worked perfectly for attaching the SLK-948u. I've got a 92mm Panaflo on mine, tho' I'm not convinced it's running any cooler than with the 80mm Panaflo.

Thanks. Got it on order with 92mm Zalman, Artic Silver and some other stuff. Now for the memory... I've never seen so many conflicting opinions. Makes it tough to decide.

Hey Tch,

Just my $0.02 but if you are going with the vnf3-250, I would strongly suggest you go for the OCZ 3500 or 3700 EB. I have a vnf3-250, A64 3200+ and 2x512 OCZ 3700 EB. I have had NO problems at all getting this system to run 500DDR 1:1, 9x250 CPU. Read the board for other vnf3-250 owners, many had problems with other RAM running 1:1.
