any good reccommendations for dance/trance music with good vocals? i realize half the lyrics are lame or make no sense, but it provides something more interesting than just the thump thump of the bass

my favorite track right now is paul van dyk's we are alive full vocal mix for reference. the sarina paris album is good stuff too.

and if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all

Kirsty Hawkshaw has done some really great stuff with many bands. Her Own was called Opus III, and she has also worked with BT.

dude, get a clue. most of Swordfish soundtracks are remixed by Paul Oakenfold.. and most of the songs I listed are remixed by him also. But if you want a specific one, Time (Am I on pause) is also by Paul Oakenfold with Jan Johnston on vocal. Now, come here and bend over, biatch!

Thats because its orignally a Chemical Brothers song You gotta hear the song that the original Chemical Brothers version leads on to, Three Little Birdies Down Beats. I'm going to have to check out this remix though...

Adding to j0lly's vocal Chemical Brother choice, I'll add Setting Sun, Life is Sweet, and Let Forever Be. None of them could really be considered trance, but their vocally good!

(edit: Oh, and if you want to get somewhat rappish, try Chemical Brothers - Not Another Drug Store and Propellerheads - You Want it Back. Also try the Propellerheads - History Repeating for something really different)
