I went to the VoiceStream dealer in my local mall and they gave away as many free phones as you wanted (4), each of my family members got a Nokia 3390 for free. Me, my brother, my mom and my dad all share the family plan and we all recieved free phones...so check out your local dealer if you are getting more than 2 phones.

I have a family plan and usually the 800 mins are not enough for me. What I really want to see is a customer to be able to chech their minutes with the phone. What they havee is Europe is:
you send a sms to a special number (1000) and you receive an sms back (within second) with your current balance and mins used. Great feature for the customer, bad feature for the wireless company (you can actually track you usage). I know that you can call VS and ask them but it takes usually 5-10 mins.

i just got the 3390 last week, I was plan to get that family plan, but my mom dont want a cell phone and 800 anytime min. is way too much for me (dont have a girlfriend) since all my friends have VS. so i sign the $29.99 plan instead... still cool plan with free weekend nationwide and 500 aol textmassage.

the phone is great, for those of you think other phones are better, like samsung, motorola... etc! Ask youself, CAN UR PHONE CHANGE FACEPLANE AND LOTS OTHER MORE ACCESSORIES? at that price--> FREE, no phones can beat its look! and yeah, I LOVE SNAKE II

voicestream is pretty good. I have the plan where i pay $40 a month and get 500 minutes. Well 2 weeks ago they called me and upgraded my account for free to 600 minutes with free long distance on the weekends that doesnt count towards my 600 and I get to use my phone anywhere in the US. All that and Im only into my contract by 7months.

I got the 3390 with voicestream too. The phone is great, the only problem is they charge you for the text messages, and if you have voice mail, a message is sent, that takes of you messages, i got 500 free, but i dunno if that is every month. Do you know if they charge for incoming calls?
