Well, I contacted sUNrOCKET and they said that this was, indeed, a serious problem and that they would look into it "immediately" and get back to me.
As soon as I hear from them I'll post what they said.
Interesting, let us know what they say. I haven't tried mine but from my understanding it's supposed to work.
I had another chance to try out some international calling this weekend. Decided to surprise a college buddy of mine who moved to Syndey, Australia some years ago, and dragged him outta bed on his Sunday morning (Saturday night for me) with a phone call.
Talked to him for almost an hour, all while playing World of Warcraft (okay, I'm addicted). Quality was great--no quality issues at all, in fact, which was a bit of a surprise to me since most international calls I've done whether from a landline or cell phone tend to have at least an echo or some popping from time to time. None of that at all--only thing I noticed was a slight delay from when I spoke until he heard me, but considering I was calling the opposite side of the planet that's not too surprising to me. The sound quality was great, and he was shocked to hear I was calling him on a VOIP line.
