Thx. Can't beat the price but am not sure I want to fiddle with earplugs. Have you gotten them yet and have any comments on the quality?

It looks like newegg has some <$10 with pretty good user ratings as well.

I own these, they are good for gaming and gen use as they don't seem to erritate my ears(ive had headphones that done this badly), don't carry base well but still good enough for regular use..

This program rocks, very hot. I called my in-laws in Paraguay from Cali, worked better than many standard POTS long distance companies. Trying to get him to use it to call us in the US, if that works then it saves him $60-100 per month and he can make as many calls as he wants to the US.

Is your Microphone muted? Click on the speaker icon in you system tray and bring up the mixer. Look at the box below the Mic slider. If it's not muted turn up the Mic volume.

For those of you who cant seem to get it to dial another person's VOIP buster's username. Try this:

Speed-dial text field ^ top

The Text Box near the bottom of the main VoipBuster window allows you to call directly by entering their User Name or phone number and pressing enter.

This was pulled directly from their faq section

I already didn all that and tested it before I posted. The Mic is working fine. Unless I need to get one of those USB phones to test it with.

When I try to use it I get a error ( that phone number is invalad ((9) that is a free call
I know the Number is right because it my Number What is the County code for the USA that was the only thing I did not have.

Interestingly if you are in the US it dials you from a number in area code 703 which is virginia,,,where their server is or something.

I called a cell phone today and it said free too. Then I looked and it had deducted some money from my account.

Well, in options there is a selection for dial up or high speed. Default is dial up so I suppose it will work just may be a little choppy. I used freetel 10 years ago over dial up and it worked...choppy though.

It works fine with a mic and two speakers but not as well as a headset where the person you are talking to is not hearing himself fed back through your mic from your speakers.

I friend of mine I told about this told me they deducted 1.1 cent from his for calling a cellphone also
