LOL @ this thread, one of the funnier things I've noticed is that while the Miata is constantly called a gay car, (and I have to admit it's far from a fire breathing domestic V8 pickup) I've not yet run across anyone in real life or online that's gay that owns one.

The gay vehicle of choice in Dallas seems to be a Ford Ranger? I mean WTF?

I would agree that convertible-ized cars are pretty much always less manly than their hardtop counterparts, but there are a number of very masculine cars which began life as convertibles (e.g., the Shelby Cobra, the Triumph TR6, the original Viper, etc.)

interior and rims are great, it's still a chick car though ^_^.

I love the foreign cars..VW/Audi/BMW, etc...

mark5 VW's have gotten a lot more reliable then he previous mark 4...

I have owned 3-4 Mark 4 Jettas and each ones seemed to have crappy interior compared to the mark 3 even, but the mark 5 is much, much better.
