Voltage....what does it all mean?

I am having trouble understanding what my computer voltage means. I have this reading on Speedfan
Core: 1.79V
+3.3V 3.36V
+5V: 5.00V
+12V: 11.81V
What does each voltage do and what uses these voltage? In addition, I am concern with the +12V cause it is lower than normal. Is it a problem cause i just brought this psu Antec true power 380watts.

your readings are fine...mobos can be off a few percents..some by alot..

Most psus are guaranteed to run at ±5% of rated power. You Antec is supposed to better at ±3%. Your readings fit the spec.

"Core" is the CPU internal core voltage. The voltage that the CPU is operating at internally.
+3.3V is the voltage that memory and several other key modern components operate at.
+5V is the voltage that older components tend to operate at as well as I/O buffers between logic types.
+12V is typically used by hard drives and CD-ROM's but it can also be used as a high voltage, high amperage source for generation of local, lower voltages for things like video cards and the CPU.

As the others said, your voltages look fine.
