I can't wait for the day when most cars can drive themselves on larger thoroughfares. It's going to be such a boon people won't believe it. Not this decade or the next but hopefully within my lifetime people will start looking back with that sort of deriding mocking that we have for how people used to live, like when they didn't have the internet, cell phones, or seatbelts. And that's because people will get in their car, hit a few buttons, then it will drive them to work so they can do something else. It will be much safer and much quicker. Imagine putting into basically single brain instead of dozens of brains how cars interact around lights. No more go, go go one at a time, all cars when it's green go at the same time. Except green is not a concept anymore because the computer doesn't need it.
