Michaels and Collinsworth has sounded bored since about 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter if that tells you anything. They're not even bothering with the action on the field most of the time.

I was really hoping this was a game. How on Earth did these 49ers beat the Cowboys again?

Romo gave that game to them. I still think they are a good team, I mean this is the Broncos they are going up against and on the road. I don't think they are going to win the division but should be in the mix for a wildcard spot.

they have wildcard potential, but this is easily the worst Harbaugh Niners team, going into this season.

A lot of other people expected them to slide this year...but I honestly didn't expect them to look this bad throughout these weeks.

Last year, this game would not have played out like this.

Man, Blaine Gabbert even in garbage time is freaking horrendous. Terrible overthrows before connecting in a garbage TD.

A lot of people would have never thought the Seachickens would be a %500 team but they are and they lost to the Rams as well. Right now Dallas is the team to beat in the NFC, Probably Denver in the AFC, I have to say probably because you can't discount Indy as legit contenders, Luck has been playing at an insane level all season and now the defense is coming around as well, when they face off we will perhaps find out if they can compete with the Broncos.

Love seeing Denver dominate a strong team, but what a snooze fest. Thursday night against SD will probably be better than this

LOL, you thought the NFL wanted the Niners to make this a game? This was supposed to be Mannings day, they told the Niners to play like ass and theyd make the Seahawks lose as well to make it up to them.

Thursday football was and is a bad idea, we get teams that cannot prepare properly in time and we get players who are risking further injury as their bodies don't get the extra time to recoop from Sunday's game.

Luck has always been playing at an insane level. He's goddamn Jesus of the NFL (much offense meant to Tebow).

I feel that Indy has been AFC contenders the last several years because of Luck...and because the AFC has been shit. This year there are better AFC teams out there besides Denver, but this is probably Indy's best year to go for the SB.

The Seachickens have been 500% before and made it deep into the playoffs. Rams are like, 2-4 against them the last 2 seasons--NFC West is effing hard. No worries, really. Here we saw a team come back from a 20 point deficit, on the road, and almost pull it out. They don't lose easily and they will learn from the last two weeks. ....well, Wilson will. He's pretty much the only reason they stay in these games. The defense is hindered by the rules these years, as is the rest of the league, but it looks like they are making adjustments. Of course, everyone is gunning for them now and I honestly think Carroll isn't the coach to prepare them for that type of competition (he's always been a douche and let's be honest--he only ever had to prepare for 1 team/year in the Pac-10...what a fool). anyway...

As for Dallas--clearly the team to beat in the NFC the last 4 weeks. They finally seem to be clicking and I think Deeko has been pleasuring himself over this the last month. Good for him--1 out of 7 years of picks can't be wrong!

Anyway, glad to see Romo finally getting people to perform around him, as much as I FUCKING HATE THE COWBOYS, Romo always gets the stiff end of the criticism, and never any praise for his skills and top 5 clutch status. He really is, despite his 4 career blunders. .....4. He's remembered as a choker for 4 blunders. OK...so the Cowgirls will go 13-3 and Romo fumbles the FG-hold to lose the NFC championship this year. I will say it now. Shit, there goes his career. If only Brady were remembered that way.

How did the NFC South get so terrible? The Saints stink and can't finish games, Carolina got the doors blown off them 3 times this season, The Falcons got dump trucked for the 4th time in a row and the Bucs are a train wreck. All 4 of these teams have swiss cheese defenses.

any one of them can win the division this year....except the Bucs, it seems. It's like the AFC South of old.

How is the NFC East suddenly so good? I don't get it.

Seems:

AFC West > NFC West/NFC East > NFC North/AFC North > AFC East ...then the South divisions..all of which suck except for the Colts.

Well Dallas is the big surprise. I think people were expecting the Eagles to be pretty good, I keep waiting for them to collapse in a game but they keep winning and made a big statement in shutting out the Giants.

I don't think Houston is a bad team. They went toe to toe with the Cowboys and almost came back to win against the Colts. The combination of Fitzpatrick not being good and the o-line collapsing like a house of cards to the pass rush is a big thorn in their side.

Looks like someone is forgetting the complete and thorough beatdown the 49ers received at home against the Colts last year.

What do you mean WHEN they face off? Have you forgotten week 1 already?

The Broncos are clearly the best team in the NFL, but I wouldn't bet on them beating the Colts in Indy or on a neutral field.

That may be true, it just sounded like he was implying they haven't met this year when they have so I was pointing that out.

Injuries have decimated the defense. Except at CB where injuries actually help them.

Ughhhhhh. Man the f*ckin Saints..... how could they just give that game away in the final 5 minutes!? This team is looking like the circa 2002-2005 Saints where they would constantly just blow it in the 4th quarter.

I really wish one of the other NFC South teams were actually good so I would not have to get dragged along all season because we can *win* the division and get in the playoffs. Frustrating season

It's like they know they suck on the road, and make it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Just about everything that could go wrong in 4 minutes, did.

Breakdown on defense? Check.
Turnover on offense? Check.
Game-changing penalty? Check.

Come on saints, was one of the few that picked you and you allow 14 points in the final minutes of the game.

Jets were done by 7 driving to tie at the end of the game. Can someine explain the niners not even showing up.

Picked p the indy D when they played jaguars. My vote now for waiver pick up of the year nominee.

Rams had fairly mediocre offensive numbers, still not sure how they won.

Bears, looks like someone pushed the plunger on that one. See them challenging the vikes for last place.

Bears were awful. Nobody is talking about how bad the RT played. He was the reason for the INT as he allowed pressure early and Cutler got rid of it quick and the fumble as well since he got beat clean and didnt even get a push on him. Cutler looked terrible. Even early on his play action wasnt crisp. His timing was off from the get go. When he audibled and went deep on third and 1 on their first drive it all went downhill. While the coverage was right for that call they needed that first down bad.

I knew Miami would beat this team if Tannehil got some rythm. Not only did they give him rhythm they probably got a him a contract....

Bears are a 6-10 team. Sadly I feel for Trestman. His roster is letting him down. Its not his fault his GM kept Briggs after two straight bad seasons and signed Cutler to a long term deal. While I felt the deal was the right move I cant help but think that Trestman secretly wanted the other QB.

If bears replace Mills and reel back Cutlers responsibility in calling audibles like Manning the bears can get on track. Team needs to come out and run more in the first half. Only two carries for Forte before halftime was retarded. Just plain awful. Now the way the bears do it they go up to the line with 2-3 plays based on coverage and Cutlet picks from those or audibles to sets based on cover 2 or whatever coverage is there but damnit this team owns when Forte runs the ball towards bushrod with a pulling guard so do that shit more gdi

Ive been pessimistic on this season after the lifeless preseason and Lovie smith camp with people drinking margaritas on the sideline playing jenga......

run the damn ball between the tackles on first down more. Center play has regressed with garza and mills is trash. Thats the reason the offense sucks now. If Ola and De La Puenta dont start next week the season is lost.

Cutler needs a Ditka like smackdown from Trestman and they need to a have a team meeting and get on the first page.

If Fuller is lost for the season with that broken hand then the season is truly lost. Jennings has been exposed and has lost a step and they 2-4 CBs are ALL off the street.....ALL OF THEM...

Really smart ejecting Kelvin Hayden mr GM.

And if the refs didn't screw up that fumble call in the Jets game, the Bears would be looking at 0-4 against the AFC East.
