Voodoo extreme?

I visit Voodoo extreme a couple of times every day usually for news. Seem to be down today. I've tried voodooextreme.com and 3dgamingnews.com... no luck on either.

Anyone know whats going on?

They've been down all day. Pretty funny that this happens during one of the busiest gaming news days of the year.

Heh. I just thought it would be ironic too that server problems would happen on the first day of E3. Oh well.

To hijack my own thread, what ever happened to "Billy" on VE? I was PC-less for a few months a year or so ago when he disappeared. I think I read somewhere he turned into some druggie and left or some damn thing. Anyone know the scoop? I'm curious.

He was somehow kicked off, and started a new page @ www.gaminggroove.com. But its been down for about 2 weeks so I have no clue whats going on.

Hmm. Anyone know why he was booted? I always thought he was a bit of an idiot but I thought it was his site so he was entitled to it.

Yeah, I thought it was his site too. He was a bit of an idiot, but he did bring some levity to the site that made it a little more fun to read than others. I think they were purchased by someone at some point or something like that, so maybe the new management didn't think too much of him. Anyway, I believe he brought on the current guy who seems to head it up (Apache). Does anyone know the real story?

Billy was kicked out of VE because he was withholding the other guys' paychecks and taking big cuts of money for himself. If I'm not mistaking I think there is some legal action pending against him because of it. The whole story used to be on VE but it was quite a while ago. Billy definitely sounded like a grade A dick.

Yeah but he was funny, and he could really run a news site. Apache and co. suck. The engineered sense of humor and lack of updates have caused me to change my start page. I hardly read it anymore.
