Ok, here's the deal:
I ordered 40.
Here's why I don't think I'm crazy.
I originally ordered 10 then another 10 by entering my credit card into the credit card fields, even though the PayPal payment method was selected. Then I realized that he wants you to finish your order, get an order number, and send the money via PayPal with the order number included. So I ordered 20 more this way, and sent the payment for all 40 in one payment. It was around 500 bucks. The first 2 sets of 10 I ordered, I was in such a hurry that I thought the UPS Business shipping was 38 bucks because there were so many, so I ordered them and paid 38 bucks each for shipping. After I realized I could do UPS residential, I did this for the remaining 20. I wouldn't have sent the PayPal payment for all 3 orders (including the first 2 with expensive shipping), except that I was thinking they might honor maybe the first X number of customers to buy them.
It looks like a legit business. Myz found it by searching for a Voodoo3 through Yahoo. Nodandoon.com is part of Yahoo business. I don't think you can get your business listed and set up overnight. Especially not with Yahoo's security and protection seals all over the place. It takes weeks even to get a website listed in Yahoo's Yellowpages or regular search engine. Besides, the Nodandoon website, though not perfect, has listings for all kinds of hardware, and good descriptions for them also. I don't think it was thrown up overnight. The address is listed as being in San Jose, and is also given with a suite number. So even if it's home-based, the guy at least has an office where he operates out of. Besides, I live in San Fran, so if things go sour for us, I'll take a drive down there and pay him a visit
They claim to be "liquidators," so I guess there is a *remote* possibility that he needs to get rid of these because of overstock or going out of business, but I seriously doubt it. I saved a bunch of pages for proof, including the receipts, of course. All I can really say is I hope it goes through.
If it does, ... sweet.
