This isn't just a win for Gordon, this is a win for PC gamers everywhere. "PC Gaming." Those word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Gordon Freeman's victory day, and you will once again be fighting for the state of PC Gaming... Not from DRM, bad console ports, or piracy... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, Gordon's victory day will no longer be known as a PC Gaming holiday, but as the day when PC Gamers declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Gordon Freeman's victory day!

Well done, Mr. Pullman.

Gordon is a lame silent one dimensional character, JC Denton should be up there instead.
but at least he's on the PC
so he gets my vote

When you read a book, you dont hear the characters voice, or see their face, so you think their all one dimensional lame characters? There are a million indications as to the kind of person he is through other characters, what he has to go through, his choice to go against the system, fight big brother, never give up no matter how much sht is thrown at him

Wow he won over all thats insane. Redo the contest in 10 years, no one voting would have ever heard of freeman.
Its really junk polling though. Obviously the computer geeks favorite will win. Console gamers are not scouring the web because they are busy playing games. There really is no statistical significance to this contest. None the less, he won and I will give credit where credit is due.... NOT
My rank went from the 100's 111 i think to 423 after this round. Anyone do better?
