Wheels are a great design accent on your car, you should not hide them by making them black.

If brake dust is the concern you might want to look into alternate pad compounds or wheel cleaning/protecting products.

I can't imagine brake dust is that much of an issue. You might need to adjust your braking habits and utilize engine braking more often

soo... you want grey then? slightly lighter black is called grey.


if the trim on your car is going black, id say black wheels make it look good. if you want a more muted lok, go with a darker charcoal grey (or gunmetal). only other that would change the look drastically would be chrome. that wouldnt look bad either.

No, but some black rims are given a very deep gloss that covers any detail they have. Other black rims have a flatter finish that you can actually see.

I'd probably go with a gun-metal myself. The black is a little too much for me. Also not a fan of tires which stick past the wheel wells.
