The electoral system is an antiquated joke though. Especially those electors who aren't binded to vote one way or another. That's like the little b!tch that chose to not vote last election because DC was not a state. She should have been beaten and forced to vote for what her people chose. Make votes count, fvck the electors, and just assign each district a value.

I think the "Vote or Die" thing is supposed to be related to the phrase "Ride or Die" that appears in damn near every song by a member of the Ruff Ryders. I have no idea what it's supposed to mean, but my guess is that MTV's goal is that it's supposed to identify a "popular" phrase in today's music with voting in an attempt to get more of the younger voters to care and exercise their right to vote. Don't ask me how this is supposed to accomplish anything because I think it's incredibly stupid and they just should have stuck with the whole "Rock the Vote" thing.

OP, I respect your opinion that your vote doesn't count and you no longer vote. Good for you.

I've talked about a dozen people out of voting this election using similar arguments. So today, my vote represents about 16 people. Half of all people don't register, and only half of the ones who do bother to vote, so that's about three other people I get to speak for. Add the dozen I have talked out of voting, plus myself, and that's 16.

I am grateful to the 15 other people who have let me represent them. Next time I'm shooting for 20!
