HOWTO MAKE A VPN CONNECTION ?
I have two winXP workstations each in different town. Each pc is connected in the internet with an ISDN modem 128k. Which is the best software to do the VPN connection of those two computers? Each computer (is proxy for each LAN and ) is connected in a LAN with a large number of other computers (about 40 - 100 pcs.)
I wanna make the computers available in LAN1 town1 to be displayed in the computers in LAN2 town2.
I tried wingate VPN with a successful encrypted connection but I cannot ping or browse any computers from one LAN to the other LAN. PCS in each LAN have internal private IPs that are not accessible from the internet but only though a reconfigured wingate proxy.
Anyone have done such a VPN connection ?
Any advice as far as concerns the Routing and NAT will be appreciated.
