Anyone able to get VPN working on a Dlink DI 614+ router?

I have VPN passthrough enabled on the router along with IPsec and PPTP

I also have the virtual server enabled and directed to the computer running Microsoft Server 2000 with RRA enabled.

I followed the directions from Microsoft to enable RRA.

When trying to connect from a remote location it times out and I get a remote computer did not respond error.

Check to see that you have the latest firmware. I know in the DI713P's case the newer/est firmware allows you to connect to Win2k VPNs without DMZing your IP.

First, can you ping the IP of your VPN server? If not, you have other problems unless your firewall blocks ICMP pings. Second, does it work when you DMZ the internal IP of your box?

Yes I can ping the server.

No, putting the server in the DMZ makes no difference.

Er, wait so is the VPN server behind the Dlink router, or are you a client behind a Dlink router trying to connect to a VPN server?
