INCREDIBLE for gaming. No ghosting, ever. Colors are bright and fresh, I see stuff I never noticed in much beloved games. If you got the $329 price then you got a good deal.

yes i got the 329.00 price but someone told me bout the VP930b and now I have my doughts if I bought the right monitor

If you take the time to read all of the pages for the VX922 on the recent TomsHardwareGuide review of Spring 2006 19" LCDs, you will see that Toms will now use the VX922 as the new standard for gaming performance. Previously, it was the 930.

Amen brother!. I did read that and thank you for reminding me of that. Guess I made the right choice. People keep trying to talk me out of the VX922 and into a dell.

Question; Should I adjust the display from the monitor itself or use the Nvidia control panel withing windows?

I haven't yet adjusted anything from the monitor nor from the nVidia display control.

Everything is still at default as shipped and with nVidia defaults.

If I do decide to adjust anything, I will likely do so through nV since the monitor has only the 'slider bar' display which is not easy to remember previous settings.

I played Oblivion last night at all nV defaults and all VX922 defaults and it was UNBELIEVEABLE.

A lot of folks on NewEgg recommend not to change a thing on the monitor, and I also recommend this.

I have the vx922 at home and it is awesome, It seems faster than a CRT

You can adjust the color with nv to make it feel warmer. by changing the hue and saturation
and for the monitor change the color to 6500k.

I love my VX922. The blacks are actually BLACK and the colors are very vibrant. No need to use nVidia's digital vibrance. The only complaint I have is the slight backlight leakage on the edges. It's not horrible, but noticable when watching movies. I'm using the DVI cable it came with and it looks amazing. The only con is now I want to go widescreen.

Just get another monitor for movies widescreen, one for games one for movies. Thats what I'm gonna do.

I just bought a VX922 to use alongside my VX910 and its noticeably brighter and sharper. I use the 922 for gaming and picture quality is fantastic... no complaints at all, considering now the 922 costs around half the price of the 910 when i bought it...
