W2K encryption?

I have encrypted all my pix. I've just reinstall OS and now can't seem to view the images. Is there anything I can do to unencrypted?

Judging from the fact that your computer is put on top of a rather measly P/S perhaps you live at home with your parents??

just guessing- better than speculating about the nature of your 'private' stash.

but.. AFAIK, if you've used the same username/password you should be able to get into them. *shrug*

what is your point Iapup? No I do not live at home with my parents. In fact they are now 2K miles away. Does that answer your questions.

And about my stash it happens to be me and one of my ex-GF doing the freak. That's why I gotta make sure that sh#t is secure man.

Well, you may be in trouble...

First of all, you are NOT part of an Active Directory domain right? If not, then you have to have a backup of the encryption keys or the images are gone for good

Ya you cannot recover it. I lost tons of encrypted files when i reformatted.

Just had a quick peak at my win2k resource kit, and it says that if you didn't backup the encryption keys, your data is gone for good
