W2K Service Pack 2 download.

I desparately need ata100 support... systems running like crap in PIO mode. I didn't spend close to $3k on a system running in PIO mode.

NT and Win2k do not suffer from this, as they use a different method for shutting down.

it was a 9x/ME problem only.

Also, all you lot complaining about downloading stuff on modems. I regularly download complete ISO's via my 56k modem (and even before, on my 33.6k modem). Before anyone goes to slap my wrists for downloading pirate software. its linux ISO's, honest .

I use both 75GXPs (3) and 40+s (2) and they're all great drives. Your &quot;idiot comment&quot; wasn't funny and it was stupid and totally out of place here (or anywhere else for that matter).

Anyway, I am looking forward to the final release as well. My initial reaction was to find this beta release but then I realized that I should wait.

uhhhh ATA66 works fine. Why are you in PIO?


My maxtor drive rocks. I get a 21000 Sandra score in win2k, on a $130 drive. It's also so quiet that I cannot hear it at all over my fans, and they arent that loud either. And BTW, SCREW YOU spec! lol
