Hi...
I need to set up a W2K Server machine for use in our lab, basically as a central file server to store and maintain all of our research data.
If anyone can point me to some good and relatively simple information about the best way to set this up, it would be greatly appreciated.
Basically, all computers with access to this server (within a larger network, so I'm thinking I need to create a new domain with the server as the root) will have shared access to a set of folders, and each user needs to have a private folder on the server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Reply here or PM please.
Thanks,
Jake
(PS-- "our lab" is a Human Memory research group in the Cognitive Neurosciences division of the Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign) Thanks!
