Does anyone knows if there is any incompatibility with Via 4-in-1 drivers and Windows 2000 or between an Asus A7Pro and W2K? My computer tend to be very crashy in Windows 2000. I can crash only by surfing on the 'net. However, he's more stable on Windows 98SE... but I don't like W98 . I've tried the 4.25 and 4.26 drivers from Via... I have the lastest drivers for all except the Detonator 3 from nVidia... I've tried 627, 631, 634 and 647. It is my motherboard that is fudged up?
I have...
Athlon Thunderbird 750
ASUS A7Pro BIOS 1004F
2x128MB AXIOM PC-133 SDRAM CAS-3
Quantum Fireball LM 7200 15.0GB
HP 9350i 32/10/4 Writer
Sony 48x CD-ROM
SB Live! Value
Linksys LNE100TX 10/100
Oh, and when I plug my sound card in slot 1 or 2, it babbling something about his IRQ shared by the Promise IDE controller... but it's the A7V, not the A7Pro with the controller... Someone understand something 'bout that?
