Just checked and there are a couple of 14 CTS V wagons on BAT. Looks like they sell for around 45-55k still for the 14s.

You guys. Yes it's bigger but not even close to 50%

20072020
Length176.6"180.9
Height62.6"68.2"
Width68.3"80"
Wheelbase99.4103.9"
Interior Volume92cu ft110cu ft

By volume maybe 20% bigger. And compared to most cars on the road still pretty narrow which is nice.

I poked around BAT after seeing your post. Some of them folks have high opinions of their jalopies. For the classic cars I get it but 1970s econoboxes starting at $5k, really?

Because Americans:

Don't be fooled by Mercedes-Benz's exclamation that, for the first time ever, the E-Class All-Terrain wagon is being introduced to the U.S. It was, sort of, already here—in the form of the nearly identical E450 station wagon. That lower-slung, un-fender-clad E-Class wagon is being swapped out for the E450 All-Terrain here in the United States. Overseas, both wagons will continue to be sold alongside one another, but not here.

Wondering what's so All-Terrain about the Mercedes-Benz station wagon? If SUV-like plastic fender flares and body armor, a small suspension lift, and a rugged-sounding name count, well, those three things.

^^^
It actually doesn't look that bad in all it's SUV make-up. I still prefer my wagons to be f*cking wagons, though.

It doesn't look bad but the normal versions are so much better. Volvo V90 being another great example.

That thing better not retail for the same price as the current e450. All that black plastic cheapens its look drastically.

All the above.^ The Buick Regal wagon we got from Europe has the same stupid plastic cladding and suspension lift. The EU Opel version looks like this:

Which by the way no longer exists over here since they are dumping all cars from their line up this year.

Again, short-sighted. GM selling Opel was short sighted, imho.

I've always longed for a Legacy 2.5GT Wagon, but, I couldnt afford them when they were new, and I dont have a place to keep a hobby car, and I dont want my daily to be old/risk of various annoyances and breakdowns, so, I drive a comforable sedan.

If/when I ever move to a place with a bigger lot and room for a garage, I will at some point have a weird old van or wagon .. maybe one of those mid engine turbo Toyota Previas

It looks like I'm on the way to becoming the owner of probably one of the last diesel wagons VWs will ever offer in the US...

Last TDI wagon I can think of that they sold was the 2015/2016 Golf Alltrack. The way you phrased that it made me think they currently sell a TDI wagon which they don't.

Yes, that's likely to be the last one they will ever offer in the US (not specifically the Alltrack though, just the TDI Sportwagen in general).
They're not giving us gas Sportwagens anymore either, 2019 was the last year (some are still around, but none that check the boxes I want).

My wagon is not happy. Less than a year old and we find out today if the insurance company totals it. We're hopeful that it's repairable but the collision place estimator looked doubtful. Oddly enough, all the lights and the backup camera work.

It lives again. The shop did a good job on the repairs but it took two months to get all the parts. The gate had to be shipped from Germany.

As I've been looking at the used car market, saw a Caprice wagon. Was white with lower grey trim and grey...forget the wheels but they put them on a lot of vintage cars (look like the ones on the Bullit Mustang). Price wasn't bad but fairly high miles. Its one of the vehicles I'd think about resto-modding. Black it out and give it Impala SS vibe. Would be my dream vacation car. Update it with the modern LT1. If money was no object I'd convert to electric.

I really hope since Porsche is making a wagon version of the Taycan (although I think they're making it "rugged") that we'll get a wagon version of the Audi based on the same platform, and that it looks similar to the RS6 (I could do with them toning down the grille especially all the large fake vents flanking the front). Or even just a lower profile version of the e-Tron.

I don't know. The 63S is still sexier. =]

We went to the Volvo dealer last summer and checked out XC60/XC90/V90. I really liked all of them from a comfort luxury view point. The blue and those wheels look just as good in real life even though I never see anyone with that actual color driving around.

I guess the reliability has tanked on the Volvo unfortunately. They are a sexy beast though. I'm still holding out for the 550 estate amg though.
