Yes, the disk is full? Did I miss something else?

Check to make sure that logfiles didn't fill up the disk.

VirtualLarry: You did indeed miss something else.

The first partition on Disk 0 (C: ) is appearing as a 14GB volume in the upper pane, not 45GB as allocated and shown in the lower pane. This is also displayed in the system properties window to the left.

But I don't know why, sorry. If I were to guess I'd say VMware is munging the reporting of the size of the disk for some reason, and that throws off the rest of the numbers as well. The proportion of used:free still seems correct, so you should probably do something about the available space.

[edit: it's not just you. This guy has a similar issue.]

[edit again: This guy fixed a similar issue by allocating a bit more space for the guest disk, restarting, and extending the volume.]

When the drive was set up it was allocated Up To 45 GB of space. You can do this but the drive will only take up the actual space it needs. Or you can dedicate the space and it will actually take the entire 45 GB and hold it for itself.

Your drive is full.

Ehh, no. It's set up just like every other server - not w/ a dynamic disc. The .vmdk on the datastore is 45 gigs. That server was/is USING 45gigs. Windows just wasn't seeing it.

Oddly enough, I used Partition Magic (which too saw is as a ~14gig drive) to expand the drive to 45gb. Effin' weird.
