Nope. €550 for the cheapest RX56. Couple of weeks ago there were a couple days where several shops in Germany sold a bunch of RX56 for €399 and RX64 for €499.
Maybe they're stockpiling for the "relaunch". Pipe dream I know

Reference models aren't being made anymore from what I've read. The last stock of them was all there will ever be. AIB from here on out.

yea i feel like that's fairly typical as far as reference followed by AIB production. stock of the reference models is rapidly disappearing though.

i still want a silver 64 but unless I can find one after the holiday that ain't gonna happen.

For anyone who needs a monitor for a Vega card:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076B9Y1R4/ref=psdc_1292115011_t3_B073V5T7WB

This wins.
32 inches
VA
Freesync
1440p
144hz

It looks like an Asus clone according to some recent TFTCentral specs I saw.

$550.

Remember, no matter how good your VC, without a decent monitor you're hobbling yourself. So that's one thing Vega has going for it.
Monitor choices.

Viotek may make a Gsync version, but the SPECIFICALLY cited the many hurdles of Gsync we all know of.

Well... we don't have great choices but at least we have choices.

Edit: Viotek also didn't add HDR for the same reason many of us cited. That it's not a finalized widely used spec. I was very happy with how candid their support was on Massdrop, so I do hope they provide us a full monitor range and options. They were asked go make GSync versions, and told that Gsync users would cover the premium it wouid take for Viotek to bring them to market, so maybe you may see some "budget" Gsync premium monitors too.

Yeah, that's way too good to be true. Let us know what you actually get when it arrives.

Does anyone even care about Vega anymore?

I think the people who really wanted it, generally have a card by now. Anyone on the fence still has pay a premium because miners seem to be keeping the price above MSRP. Unless there's a big driver drop that boosts performance in the next few months, I don't see any real long-term interest in Vega.

xmr mining.
I mean, they might make Vega work eventually, but it very well may be too late and nVidia will drop bigger dies and steal all the sales.

If custom Vega cards are available at their MSRP in good numbers, they'll sell. A potential Vega 56 around $400-450 (and lower around sales) with a low noise cooling solution is a fantastic card for the price.

Of course if the miners keep the prices high, then the situation changes for gamers. Either way, AMD will sell huge number of Vega cards, if they can actually build these.

looks the NITRO+ finally launched; appears the fastest of the custom bunch so far... also the most aesthetically pleasing imo. (not that it's great).

no idea when they'll actually show up online or in stores but I don't have the scratch to grab another Vega right now anyway.

I'll be curious to see if Vega can hold ground when Volta releases.
Volta doesn't look that impressive: smells like moar ALUs from miles away. Good for compute (Titan V is a rly nice FP64/ML workhorse), meh for anything else.
All in all it depends on AMD's ability to make Vega work.

$659? Seriously?
I guess they are still riding the mining craze prices.

Looks like a nice card. Pity it's late, and it will likely be hard to find for a reasonable price.

Kind of getting tired waiting for AMD to get its supply act together, I have been checking Newegg, Amazon everyday for the past few weeks for a 56 or 64 Vega and they are always out of stock. I have a freesync monitor so kind of stuck with AMD.

NVDIA 1080 1080ti however are all over the place!!!

Think of all the missed sales opportunity for AMD they can be raking in all the dough from miners and gamers.

I am kind of wishing NVDIA start making mining friendly cards to ease the pressure off AMD.

Al lot of people said dont buy a Gsync monitor as you will be paying extra as opposed to freesync, However freesync owners have pay extra for over inflated AMD prices due to the mining craze.

Sorry for the rant just want to upgrade my R9 390 already.

It's not only the AMD cards that went over MSRP because of mining. The GTX 1060 and 1070 were in the same boat. Those were both way over MSRP this past year. The GTX 1080 and 1080ti (GDDR5X memory) weren't affected much because they aren't good mining cards, and they were already expensive.

I don't think it's a supply issue (at least not with the RX 480/580 cards), it was just the miners buying every single card they could. Heck, I think there are some users here who said they had like 60+ cards mining, and they'll gladly pay inflated prices as long as they can buy them.

It sucks, but until the crypto currency bubble bursts, it's going to stay that way.

My son tonight told me I should have gotten in on Bitcoin when it first started because they are up over $19,000 per coin. I thought he read something wrong, or was jerking my chain, but I looked and he is right.

There were many times Vega 64 and 56 were in stock at MSRP.
Sucks if you didn't get it, but they were there.
Each time a huge crypto article comes out though you can kiss those MSRP prices goodbye.
