I gave up waiting and accepted the fact that I'll probably never buy a Vega card due to lack of availability and insane pricing.
Managed to snag a Powecolor Red Devil RX Vega 56 from Newegg Today.

I saw it at 2:15 and it was gone by 2:33.
Under $700* too!
(*not including shipping )
There’s a few others that have come in and out of stock today at Newegg including the MSI aftermarket blower and an XFX AIO Vega 64.
(I went fanboy this time - so yes a 1080 would have been cheaper)
Post some benchmarks when you get it! Would love to see what kind of clocks it sustains or even how well it overclocks.
You did pay quite the premium for that sweet looking cooler, but it should blow away the reference baseline.
lol everyone who wanted Vega paid a premium.
ROFL OOS one minute later...MSI Airboost Vega at Newegg in Stock $639

Well my wait is over:
(Well almost. My Enermax 360mm cooler arrived with a leak so my build is now waiting on a replacement. Sigh. )
Good looking card, to me the best looking Vega so far.
I wish I had the same luck as you, no PowerColor Red Devil vegas left.
Can you tell us about the cooling, if its noisy? from the reviews it does really good in silent mode.

Thanks for reporting back. The 1767RPM fan speed is disappointing to hear for me personally. It is certainly not bad for such card, but I have very little tolerance for PC noise and that would be too loud for me. I guess I'll be waiting for Polaris successor on 7nm process.Ran a few benchmarks. 7017 in Time Spy. (Graphics 6769). This is with the standard Vega bios and not the cool and quiet or OC bios. (Red Devil has three bios’s). CPU and GPU at stock settings.
Couldn’t hear the fans over my AIO fans (I still need to adjust those)
Temps never got above 55C. Clock speeds bounced around 1550-1580.

Huh? Just buy a card with a different quieter cooler, set a custom fan profile, power limit, undervolt, move the case further from your ears and take advantage of the physics of sound propagation through air.... there are a million things you can do now that don't involve waiting 2 years. My MSI Armor 1080ti is totally inaudible even at full tilt, for example. Thanks for reporting back. The 1767RPM fan speed is disappointing to hear for me personally.
