And please note, this list does look like last years Wal*Mart ad, but some items are changed. Most notably, the HP computer.

If anyone can provide scans to either prove or disprove the ad, that'd be nice.

If true then not a bad deal to get run over for!

Interesting Luden, I'll have to ask some of my connections about that. I would think that would be a poor decision for walmart though because there are many people out there that do not have the internet or refuse to use a computer.

Maybe they would release it online to prevent people from going to other stores and PM'ing using their ad. If there is a good deal, you'd have to go to WM to get it (and they'd hope you buy other stuff while your there).

That HP computer package is pretty much the same price they always sell it for. They have EMachines and Compaq packages at the same price

Oh, and a VHS-C camcorder??? WTH??? People still use those?

Slim pickins this year

There are several people on our BF forum (myself included) who think that either this list is totally false or not complete. After looking at last year's list, there are quite a few items that are exactly the same (trampoline, fleece clothing, some of the toys, etc...), and a few other things (as Fritzo mentioned) that are not really great items to being with, so it could be that this is not a legit ad, and if it is, it's not too impressive.

There's a poster at FW who said he was a WalMart employee and that the list items don't match the items he is seeing coming in marked for BF although he does say that the items coming in are similar to the ones in the list and very much like the ones from last year.

I guess we'll all know for sure later on.

Your guess is at good as mine.

All my deals have come pretty much in this way. Someone emails me, I check their list with last year's list (you wouldn't believe how many emails I get with last years deals...), then post it.

Until someone gets the ad, it's all just a hope

I am curious. If you live near a walmart that is open 24hrs what time does the sale start? Anyone know?

Traditionally they have some tool chests on sale. They are basically you get what you pay for things. Cheap and made in china most likely.

I went by my Walmart last night and they already have people camping out in the parking lot in big RV's and trailers. I don't think that's fair! I guess I'm going to have to pitch my tent next to the front door!!!!

IIRC, they still close the night before and reopen. Of course, every Walmart is run differently (and believe it or not, other than ad prices, their prices on other merchandise differs from store to store as well)
But, at least at my local WallyWorld, they had a sign on the doors that they would close at some point on Thanksgiving and would reopen the next morning at 6am. (I can't remember the time they closed... 6pm or 8pm maybe)

How does that work, anyways? The parking lot is covered with "No Overnight Parking" signs, and yet, I do see trucks and campers parked there overnight. Is there some sort of policy that Wal-Mart allows this, or people just do it anyways, or what?
