As I pointed out, all those featured in videos whose social media history can be traced, have LONG histories of being hard core right wing. Most of those are so far right, they are down the rabbit hole of conspiratard nonsense and have been as far back as their social media history goes (10 years or more).

I have YET to see a single "walk away" video of a person who has a verifiable history of ever being a Democrat in their adult life or ever posting from a left-wing bent or supporting a democrat on social media.

All I see is a LOT of long time, hard core right-wingers making videos claiming to be walking away from something they never were.

Which I'm not disputing that they never were liberal/Democrat (I expressly said that, and I think a lot of them likely rarely if ever voted at all so them claiming any which way is just stupid on top of being bullshit). My point was what pushed them to be this way that they'd become active in trying to claiming such. Gamergate was what 2012/2013? Basically a bunch of people that as they aged (and that disparity is all over the place, from teen to fricking mid 30s in my experience) that started maturing to the point where they realized they should pay attention to politics, and it was happening at the same time that stuff like sexism and racism in entertainment media (and society in general) was being brought to light. Only, they went the opposite direction, losing their minds and becoming shitspewing conspiracy minded morons, who naturally got attracted by a certain party who has been doing that type of thing for decades. Take some of the people on this forum that act like they were liberals before that, but that after scum like Milo started sucking up to them seeing an opportunity (nevermind how he called them pathetic virgins just months before) informed them, they suddenly became woke to the whole "globalist liberal conspiracy". They ignore that people like Milo, Bannon, and Turmp still insult them all the fucking time, but since they insult others worse and give them some other people to direct their hate at, that they're more than happy to support these type of people. In their minds their hate is justified because they're doing it in response to what they view as hate and contempt for them (because women dared to speak out about rampant sexual misconduct, and black people daring to call out inequality how they get treated).

My point being, a lot of them have been galvanized into trying to support this type of bullshit because of other bullshit. Absolutely no argument from me whatsoever that it is total bullshit though.
