sure this movie will make a ton of money just because it is a Pixar flick, but not sure what the Pixar folks were shooting for with this movie...

there were more laughs and entertainment with the Pixar short that was shown before the movie...

I think kids are gonna get bored with this one...too many references to the musical wall-e plays over and over and Wall-E trying to hold Eve's hand over and over gets pretty old as well..

the awesome graphics can't even save this one...

Considering the early reviews have been pretty much 100% positive (most saying this is by far Pixar's best movie), I either question your taste in movies, or claim that you're making this all up.

Please list a few movies that you really like so I can pass judgement on you.

Thanks.

this is first pixar movie I haven't liked...I would put rat and cars below monsters, nemo and toy story though...

Interesting. I definitely thought this one would be good. I try to avoid trailers as much as possible these days since they seem to enjoy giving away the entire movie now, but the brief clips I've seen I thought were very good.

I'll still see it, but I'll be interested to see if what you say holds true.

the movie is a robot love story that is too drawn out way too much...guess I just expected way too much from Pixar or something...the movie had its moments but a 100% positive is a joke, seriously...

the parts of the movie that got the most laughs were in the trailers...(except the pixar short at the beginning)...

How does one "review" crap like all these CGI children's movies?

pixar has been going (slightly) downhill lately. didn't bother with cars, almost fell asleep watching rat. WallE seems to be similar. should have remade short circuit instead.

I'll see what more people think. I have heard that alot of pixa moveis are from the same mold though ... so people will get bored of them in time.

Wall-E looks stupid imo... and I LOVE those style movies.. I think Monsters Inc was by far the best, though..

Bug's Life was pretty damn good too..

Finding Nemo was decent..

I just hope it isn't an hour and a half of Wall-E Looney Tunes his way across the universe. I enjoyed Finding Nemo and Monster's Inc very much (did not care for Rat or Cars).

Fantastic. At least we're getting honest in our questions on ATOT.

and well...wall-e trailers are pretty vague.

Don't know why people are tripping over themselves to hype this up. It looked corny and boring from the previews I saw. But hey, it's Pixar, they could make $300 million easy off the suckers in this country from a Mr. Hanky movie if they wanted.

Trailers

One Pixar tradition is to create one trailer for each of their films that contains no footage from the actual released film. The trailers for this film:

* Mater accidentally hits a little bumblebee while driving, and when Lightning McQueen tells him to forget about it, McQueen hits a swarm of bees. Mater laughs at his misfortune.

because generally you don't release a film to any critics early if its a turd.

I guess, but I could see them putting most scenes in the movie...but we'll see. No matter the reviews...I will go see any pixar / dream works movie.

I even liked CARS, not a whole helluva-lot, but I did not hate it.

In the past 2 years or so, I have racked up around 200 movie tickets from the theaters.

I used to collect my stubs, but I had over 400 at one point and started tossing them!

Mind you, most of the time the GF comes along...and sometimes we just go to 1-2 other movies if its not too late.
