My wife and I saw it tonight and she almost fell asleep. We both thought it and the short was sort of OK. I thought it had some good parts but was slow moving. We only paid $5 each so it wasn?t a total loss. The dinner at Carrabba?s was much better.

I liked Wall-E a lot...until they reached the ship.

Then I just hated it, it was slow, the characters were simply disgusting, and it was no longer clever (except for the part outside the ship where they "dance.")

I'd recommend it as a rental, nothing more.

I suppose if the idea of Michael Moore and Al Gore getting together to try and make a subtle variation on their movies into a disney flick sounds interesting to you, you'll like it right away. It was always in the back of my mind so I didn't appreciate it as much as I could have. This is obviously the reason why the film is being applauded in all corners of the net as well. Much more so then it deserves.

The whole robot becoming sentient, and retaining his memory and all that at the end was pretty touching. Really I'd say watch the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes and just skip the rest in between. Of course I can't be too hard on it since I dozed off more then once before the end.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the most disconcerting thing of all was that the movie didn't have a single memorable "funny" moment. It simply wasn't funny at all and took itself entirely too seriously.

Please stop posting until you get your facts and grammar straight. Bee Movie is a DreamWorks Animation film.

Wait, we need facts to formulate an opinion now?! See that's whats wrong with this world. Nobody approves of knee-jerk reactions and ignorant, gross generalizations!

I thought the movie was well great. Very enjoyable and the scenes with Wall-E and Eve were adorable.

Odd, I don't recall Pixar ever saying, "Come see WALL-E, it's the funniest picture of the year!" Why does a Pixar movie "have to be" funny anyway? Do you just enjoy the same old cookie-cutter jive-talking, joke-cracking animated animal movies? Personally, I'm glad Pixar tried something a little different from the norm. Those with short attention spans might suffer through the parts with little diologue, but the rest of us will appreciate the movie because we empathize the feelings of loneliness and longing for companionsihp that WALL-E felt.

By far, the most enjoyable movie this year. Two animated robots which barely speak actually are better than most actors today.

Best movie I have seen in a long time! I loved this one. It's charming. And the fat people, it's hilarious. A huge swimming pool that they never use and they all forget how to walk. And what was that bug, a cockroach? It was Wall-E's best friend. And when Wall-E gets dirt on Mo. Its cool how like the first half our there no talking. They did it so well.
