What do you prefer?

I had one that I found in my house and I used it for a tiny bit then I lost it... Idk where it went... Sad. I hope I didn't lose money.

EDIT: This particular model has one bug, and it's a tendency for the thin leather strip around the plastic window to detach. I simply super glued it back on. Everything else looks like it's got 5+ years left.

nondescript black leather bifold.

I used to like trifolds when I'd wear a wallet chain, but I find the bills easier to manage when taken out of bi's (and I can reach into my pocket and pull out a specific bill or CC without actually taking my wallet out).

Black leather trifold with as few cards as possible. It's nice and compact that way.

A thin wallet is important for me. I tend to carry my wallet in my back pocket and, being skinny, I don't have ass fat to form around the wallet when I sit down. So the the thinner the better.


Also, I'm not sure if its the wallet or not (I've had this since I was 14), but my cards only last about 3 years before cracking. I just request a new card when it happens, so its not a huge deal. Anyone else have this problem?

You guys are tempting me to get a Dopp 88, I've been using a leather trifold forever (10+yrs) and it's getting bulky.
Aside from CCs, cash, and ID, does the Dopp 88 have a pocket for assorted items like gift cards, CVS/market membership cards, business cards? I'm guessing the idea is to slim down the amount of stuff you carry but I'd like to keep everything I'd normally use in there

minimal/standard: DL, alternate ID, flyer card, 3 CCs, debit card, 10 business cards, some cash.... thin as a mother

sometimes i add a small wad of cash, bunch of receipts, extra debit card and extra flyer card, etc etc and it still holds it fine


and ive gone through all of the other recommendations on ATOT for "slim wallets"... dopp is clearly the most superior

I've been looking for a new wallet. I've had my current wallet for 6 years or so and it's getting pretty beaten up. This Dopp 88 looks pretty wonderful.

That's basically how I organize it. Cash in the front fold, DL+AMEX+VISA in the middle fold and receipts+business cards in the last fold.
