I saw this, it seems to have an unofficial limit of one per customer right now, said 1000+ were sold already. I snagged mine real quick, I have no idea if this one has a 1080P display or not.

Edit: The blurb after the link above does say "FHD", which is "Full HD", which is marketing code-speak for a 1080P display.

Can that ram be upgraded?

No. That goes for all of the inexpensive Gateway laptop deals right now. It is also half the ram, half the SSD capacity, and half the threads of the AMD model for $50 more. Something to consider.
