2016 was a pretty explosive moment in American history. Human psychology cannot withstand the onslaught of threats delivered over social media. The brain does not distinguish between conflicting ideas and physical threats. The internet is one big blender with which we mix and experience the threat of the "other" first hand.

What was once an idyllic life of ignorance and bliss, has become a harrowing experience unto madness. Humans need to evolve to be able to cope with our new world, and we all need to take a deep breath and settle down so we can live long enough for that to happen.
