Happy to say I haven't bought anything from Walmart in quite a while now
It's interesting to see that the 15 day return for electronics has been expanded to 90 days. IIRC it used to be 15 days only on unopened media (DVDs, games, etc) and 30-90 days on everything else. Wonder if other stores have changed their policies on electronics as well.
May not be necessarily a good thing at some odd hours of the night. One managed checkout open, lines that go back to form several feet to the clothing section, some customers with cart full of items and me only having one or two items to buy.
That is a bad experience indeed.
Otherwise, it is mind my own in obtaining item (if the Walmart is the closest and open option I have) and checking out, just like any other store.
Have not bought any major electronics from them anyways.
I go to Wal-Mart occasionally. There's usable stuff in there...
Most of the time, I go to Canadian Tire or Ikea. Same, made in China stuff, but presented nicer and they don't have the "Wal-Mart" stain, so no one wins!
Also, I would suggest donating that Blu-ray player to Goodwill or some other charitable places or people that might have a better use out of it. It is a gift after all, no cost to you. And you are giving the gift that gives to others.
