These things sell on ebay for $40-50, so this is not really a deal at all. All those previous sales on it at CUSA made it worthless.

Hmmm, I think most people got lost in the fact that this thing can burn CDR on its own, not just a disc based mp3 player. This is a good deal for an external(albeit smaller disc) CDRW.
$50 is warm, but I will jump on it when it's $20 AR again.
I have done thousands of dollars in rebate, always kept copies to re-submit in case of problems. Got all of them back.

H*LL, if people don't like reading such a long post,
they have the freedom to hit that little "back" button at the top of their browser.

We just need a time machine to buy these and take them back about 5-7 years ago
and make some profit.

Edit: I just noticed it won't work with Win95/NT, anything pre-USB.
Guess we can't go back any farther than 1998, and need to take blank cd's with us too.

I wasn't able to finish the first sentence of that infomercial but I was able to go out of my way to cut/paste one of the links and determined I wouldn't have that thing given to me for free.

I went back and finished the first sentence and let me assure you that anything that is a money loser on eBay will never qualify as "possibly the greatest one in the past few years" or "the HOTTEST deal ever". If you're going to hype a deal that much you had better bring the deal or you'll get the type of response you got.
