want to get a PCMCIA firewire card, what to get?

my T42 doesnt have firewire ports, so i need to get a PCMCIA card with firewire. what brands are good?

For the most part I'd try and get something w/ a TI chipset it's the most compatible also FW 800 or 400? if 800 it limits your selections to just a few cards, this one would work for FW 400Cheap FW400 card, I'd check around on Newegg for what your looking for, just do PCMCIA firewire search and you should get what your looking for

I just went throught that, and the best one I found was the Adaptec FireConnect with 3 1394 ports (6-pin.) It has the TI chipset. It has fixed a lot of my problems with SP2 and Firewire - in fact, all of them.
